Winter skiing tale in Ortisei

Adults and children can enjoy skiing in the Dolomites. Ortisei is an intermediates paradise – there are some fantastic long blues and reds, particularly towards Selva. In Val Gardena, the area which Ortisei is part of, there is a World Cup downhill course.

Ortisei has 157km of runs suitable for beginner and intermediate skiers and boarders, so first time snow bunnies and those who have hit the slopes before can enjoy the varied terrain that makes up this standard ski pass. Even if the child is not yet familiar with skiing or snowboarding, he will definitely enjoy the training.

The Dolomites Val Gardena / Alpe di Siusi ski area is part of the Dolomiti Superski, a world-famous network of 12 ski areas in the Dolomites which you can access using just one ski pass.

In Val Gardena you can also experience the longest ski slope in South Tyrol, the "La Longia", which is more than 10 km long, features 1,273 m of elevation gain and stretches from mount Seceda to Ortisei. The slopes feature a variety of passages, from wide slopes to a natural canyon with a frozen waterfall: pure bliss for every skier!
