DAY 1

"Carnival Day"
Accommodation in the hotel Palazzo Morosini degli spezieri.
Excursion by water taxi with a visit to one of the historic palazzos and an interview with its owner.
Lunch.
Master class for children on how to make venetian masks.
Visit to a historic costume shop.
Gastronomic tour of the best bacari (traditional bars) for adults.
Dinner in masks and a lecture on the Commedia dell'Arte.

DAY 2

"Unique Venice"
Breakfast in the historic Café Florian.
Tour-quest in the Doge's Palace for adults and children.
A visit to the famous food market and a selection of seasonal products.
Cooking class for adults and children.
Lunch.
Visit the elegant Lido di Venezia.
Return to Venice.
A gondola ride in the evening sunshine.
Exclusive visit to St. Mark's Basilica for our group only, guided tour for adults and children.
Dinner.

DAY 3

"Island Day"
Wake up early and meet the fishermen at the lagoon.
Fishing.
Tour of the island of Burano.
Lunch at the historic tavern Locanda Cipriani on the island of Torcello, secrets of the Bellini cocktail.
Boat trip to the island of Murano.
Glass crafts workshop.
End of the program and return to Venice.
Transfer to Tuscany (for the participants of the Tuscan trip from May 8 to 13).

Everybody likes boat tours.

Visits to Murano Island include a story and demonstration of work at one of the oldest glassworks. Watching the craftsmen at work and blowing into a glassblower's tube. The ball of glass is then smashed and discarded. The experience helps you and the children understand the difficulty of working with liquid glass by experience.

Acquaintance with craft workshops.

A visit to St. Mark's Basilica, the iconic Venetian cathedral, after it is closed to tourists. The option of an individual visit only for the Italia Per Famiglie group is a completely unique experience. The cathedral is fully illuminated, the mosaics and altarpiece make a totally different impression and there is an opportunity to approach areas that are closed to tourists.
The duration of the tour is one hour. Time is strictly regulated.
